Club Director
AWANA
The goal of AWANA is to reach boys and girls with the good news of Jesus Christ, training them to know, love, and to serve him. Capital City Baptist Church partners with parents in developing spiritually strong children who will follow Jesus Christ.
The name AWANA is an acronym for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed,” which comes from their key verse: “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15, KJV).
